The voting lasts for another 24 hours, at the end of which the GM will tally the votes and declare a winner! - There will be THREE rounds, with one prize given for the winner of each round. Rules: - You can only win one round. - You cannot vote for yourself in voting rounds. - All entries must be appropriate. -inspired by Star Trek: Trials and Tribbleations- You start out by buying one Gwinl, a small fluffy creature with a lion-like tail and one HUGE eyeball. Every hour, the Gwinl will double itself. You can buy predators, such as the K'ki'ka, a bird-like thing, which eats two Gwinl an hour, skipping every fifth hour. The Grinbgwing, looks like a Gwinl, and tricks it into being too distracted to mate, causing 1 per hour NOT to double. ...and various other predators. |D -quickjob- |

Human Society Sim Once you sign up, you have 24 hours to get you kennels set up. You do not buy animals, but animals come to you. Depending on the quality of your kennel, such as cleanliness, adoption rate, euthinzation rate, animals will be "dropped off". Your task, is to organize volunteers and a few paid employees to work to get rid of all the animals. You can hire a vet to make mandatory vaccination, which will decrease your drop off rate by like 1%. You can increase your euthinization dates, however, this will have negative impact on your score. You can train dogs in certain skills to make them more likely to get adopted. Test the dog, cat, or small critter for diseases. If you have enough money, you can reduce adoption prices, send the animal to another shelter and so on. |

I hope its okay to bring up an idea that I hopefully plan to make into a real sim in the future(far, far future). It fits the requirement. Hope this isn't too detailed. Compared to my actual plans this is docile. Feral Cat Sim You as a player become responsible for a colony of feral cats and must study their actions, feed and care for these cats as best as possible, and through trap, spay/neuter, and release programs reduce the number of your colony. As your colony number fluxuates and kittens are born enjoy the realistic genetics and watch how traits are passed from adults to offspring. Battle unruly neighbors bent on poisoning your cats and genetic diseases that impact their quality of life. Trap and re-release adults to let them live our their final years on the land they know, but try and catch and raise kittens, socializing them and preparing them to be rehomed. Cats in each colony come and go and can move between players' colonies. They reproduce at a rapid rate and not every kitten cat be caught and rehomed because of the limited resources of your rescue. Cats can even be dumped into your colony by a NPC. While working toward reducing your colony size, earn rescue points and prestige through proper care of your colony and rehoming kittens and young cats. The higher your prestige the more donations your rescue gets which opens up more options for vet care, food, and equipment. While socializing your new kittens work toward earning FGC (Feline Good Citizen) or FGC-Jr (Feline Good Citizen Junior) awards which result in more prestige and a higher adoption rate. The ultimate goal is to get as few of cats as possible and beat the odds stacked against you in a world that doesn't seem to care about your plight. |

Pest Control Sim >:) Your objective is to rid the world of pests. Use whatever methods possible to catch and kill the critters in the most cost-efficient way possible. Gain popularity by keeping your customers happy, and begin to build your business up. Employ staff, spend money on research, and aim to own the most successful business! Frivi Edit: Toned down just a tad due to some concerns. Edited by Frivi, Jul 12 2011, 09:32 PM.

I was going to make a SIM like yours Midnightfox because we do that kind of stuff in RL. We have a feral cat colony ![]() You would pick one animal to begin with - cat, dog, horse. From there, you would have a job etc. You would have housing requirements. You could breed, show, and train any breed of the animal you picked. You can sell them. You can also trap feral animals in your area and relocate them (TNR) - depending on whether you have a permit or not. However, the less animals you have, the less it costs you. If you have too many, the housing and expensives would be costly. And if you had a lot, and couldn't take care of them, it would lower your rating. The higher the rating, the better the rewards. Blondetiger, I've worked with a feral cat colony for almost 20 years (and its been on the property longer than that) so I was looking to make it in honor of my Grandmother (who took care of the colony) who passed away last year.

I'd love to see a SIM about feral cats <3 It may raise awareness for them, which would definitely be helpful! Wow! 20 years? Way to go! We moved here in 2005, and have been working with ferals since. Neutered/TNRed about 66 kitties Only have about 2 friendlier kitties to spay, and about 2-4 ferals (really feral ones, only come out at night and such, run if you open the door).Sorry to hear about your grandma! =( That would be a really special SIM. I hope you can make it one day! |
