Hi guys! I'm red dog  Call me red, r-dog, rd, whatever suits your fancy.After listening to a few presentations last summer, I have wondered about how I can participate. I settled on writing a presentation about communication design because as an illustrator and someone concerned about how sims present themselves on the web (it has always been interesting to me since these games are browser-based). I focus now primarily on drawing digitally entirely because I see my artwork and what I do to be web-based for the rest of forever. I learned about the sim community when Tyrant from Vis-Servo hired me as an illustrator (she's lovely). From here I really got to see the small independent games from up close, which for the longest time I had only really known about neopets/wajas/furry-paws. While I have been kind of AFK due to some medical issues for the past few months, I have no intention of stopping playing these games or helping to build them in some way. Much like how my first roleplaying guilds on neopets left me a sense of longing to bring people together, I dream of being part of a community who cares about the arts, innovation, DIY mentality and hard work. If it wasn't for sims and virtual pets, I might not be drawing today at all! For the record, I'm an androgynous beast-thing (I get called male and female pronouns, generally I go by male online) that has been studying a few different things in college for four years (arch for 2, metals for 2) and I draw. Hey Red! Seen you around lots on VS and I love your art syle  Anyhoos, to keep the chatting going I'm Avalon. I found the lovely PSU after getting back into the online games scene last year when I started thinking about creating my site MysticalEquine. I felt honoured to be asked to do a Q&A on MysticalEquine at Siminar last year but I kinda flopped due to tech issues. Im really looking forward to Siminar this year and hope that as a presenter I can do it justice. Im NOT a natual speaker; I have/do find speaking to larger audiences quite a daunting prospect but my passion for what I do and PSU drive me to want to take part I really hope we have alot of newer faces peeking into Siminar this year. Frivi, Paige and the rest of the team have worked so hard on it and I hope its a success. You never know where it might end up! (I'd love to attended something like Siminar but in a larger RL 'meet and greet' style) |

Hello everyone. :3 I've been stalking this forum for a while, but decided to join to participate in all the events. My name is Aya and I'm a sim game player and a mod on DogDayzz. I've been playing sim style games since I was 9 or 10 and I'm 19 currently. I've had an account on practically every older sim game including cat games, dog games, and horse games. Since I'm rather picky about what I like, I'm only active on DogDayzz and Pony. I went to Siminar last year and am surely attending this year. Last year it was mainly to get some scoop on the new games and to support my friend Tuk (who can't attend this year). For siminar this year I've been helping Tobias come up with things to talk about for her session about DogDayzz. I'm really excited about it both as a player of sim games and a player aspiring to make her own sim(s) one day. |

Yo everyone!  I'm Paige, a student by day and a design ninja by night. I became obsessed with sim games in 2004 (I had never used the internet previously, gasp) when a friend told me to start playing Horseland. Since then I've tried just about every game imaginable, and if it weren't for HL, I would have never found Photoshop--my love for which has led me to double major in graphic design and fine art I started AWAS forum a couple of years ago, I guess, probably around 08, which is where Frivi and I officially met, and when it grew too big for the server it was on and went down, Frivi suggested combining our efforts and voila, here is PSU today Along with KindredBlue (who goes by Loomi now) I own Game X, which will be revealed during our Q&A this weekend. We wanted it to stay a secret because I, for one, had been a victim of the thought that oh-I-have-a-sim-game-must-reveal-to-public-immediately in the past. So, we've been working on it for a while and we still have a ton of cool new features to add, but we're ready to have alpa accounts this coming week after Siminar! Curious to know what it is? We'll be taking guesses. Hint: There is a teeny-weeny clue in the name "Game X". I also manage and run Equintium as of late, which has been fun but challenging! I love horse sims and used to own my own, Best Hoof Forward, but that has been put on hold for a while as Game X and EI take up most of my time and EI satisfies my longing for a horse sim. I've worked on quite a few other sims as well. Also, I like to talk, as you can see here... haha I'm a Christian and a crazy horse lover, have been riding english (emphasis on dressage) since I was 6 or 7. I love to write, read, do archery, go surfing, swim, be a geek (I LOVE Lord of the Rings!!!), and hang out with my super duper cool boston terrier, Otis.

Hi everyone. c: I won't be able to attend Siminar this year, as I work all day on both days. :c However, I'll try and hang around for the pre-Siminar activities whenever I can. I presented last year with some tips for new sim owners or people thinking about starting a sim. I've been playing sims since about 2004 or 2005 when I joined FP, and I have an account on almost every sim because I love checking sites out and trying them to see if I like them. Currently I'm an administrator on DogDayzz, I actively play K9, I play a few other dog sims on and off, and I own four of my own sites, two of which are in alpha testing right now and the other two of which are in development. Unfortunately my sim time has started to become limited as I'm very busy irl right now, which makes me sad because I really love working on my sims and I feel bad when I can't be constantly updating them. :c Ah well... Life. So annoying. |

Hi all, I'm LolliWolly (Or Lolli) and this is my first time attending the Siminar. It's going to be great! I am going to try my hardest to give supports and attend (Especially for Av! ), although it will be hard as I will be travelling and on holiday xD I have three horses, one 14hh, 9 year old Steel/Dappled Grey Connie gelding, one 11.2hh, 6 year old Light grey Welsh Section A gelding and one Welsh Section B/C, 13.2 hh, 5 year old gelding. I also have one cat (Lilac Rag doll, Blue eyes, five year old.) I have two Bichon Frise dogs, one male and one female. They are both one year old. I have had quite a few more cats previously who are/were beautiful. I play on Mysicalequine, Howrse and some other games. Mainly ME and Howrse though. That is how I found out about this, through ME. I am looking forward to meeting new people from other Sim games and uniting together

I'm qwigoqwaga. I join a bunch of sims, but unfortunately rarely stick with them. I currently actively play WHILS and Ailouros and of recently FPaw and Mystical Equine. This will be my first Siminar. When I joined Mutt-z last year, I saw a post about it, right after Siminar. I then vowed that I must attend next year. I forget how exactly I found PSU, but I did and started waiting for Siminar again. I'm really looking forward to most everything. And I'm pretty sure I can be there almost all day both days

Hey everyone! I started playing sims -counts on fingers- 5 years ago. I started out on the sim, furry-paws. I was there on and off, more off but ahh well, and that is where I met Frivs. From there I eventually caught wind of Arctic-Lights. Right now I do not play furry-paws, but am pretty darn active on Arctic-Lights. I mostly am involved with the community and art. Hope to see some familiar faces and meet some new people. Already recognize a few user names from elsewhere. Tis' my first siminar. |
